Michael J Schlederer BCom CA FTIA

On graduating from university, Michael began his accounting career in public practice, where he gained much experience over many years looking after a broad range of clients, each with unique tax and accounting issues.

Michael went on to gain hands-on experience working as the finance manager for a top-50 ASX listed company. In this role, he not only looked after the day-to-day accounting but also prepared General Purpose Financial Reports for release to market. This position taught Michael the importance of cash flow for a business.

Michael has also worked as part of a corporate finance team of a top-50 ASX listed company in which he developed extensive financial modelling skills to determine business investment decisions, or in other words, really big budgets!

On returning to public accounting, Michael established his own practice, Schlederer Associates, with the support of many of the people he met through his career so far, and the desire to make a positive difference for his clients through his proactive, practical, flexible and accessible approach.

Schlederer Associates are focused on advising and supporting our select group of clients, small businesses and investors, optimally navigating their financial affairs. We are not your traditional accountant whom you saw once a year.
